It is not only you but even around 2.5 lakh people missed to buy Xiaomi Redmi yesterday as reported in Economic Times the Redmi 1s has been sold 40,000 units in flash of 4.2 seconds its once again an record sale through Flipkart on Tuesday (2nd Sep, 2014).
Redmi 1s is an entry level phone with good features for its price as compared with its competitors Samsung, Micromax and many others.
Delivering of these phone will now be longer compared to MI3. Flipkart Redmi 1s showed that smartphone could be delivered within ten to twelve working days.

Manu Jain who is Xiaomi's India head has issued statement that there was no supply crunch but the delivery itself is delayed due to added freebies with this phone, like SIM adapter, Screen protector which should be imported from China.
Due to extreme pressure on Xiaomi is not able to meet the demand in India, but consumers could atleast be satisfied with added freebies.
2.5 lakh people have registered for the flash sale of this new entry level Xiaomi mobile phones, but 40,000 units were sold in just 4.2 seconds.
