He is one of the most celebrated writers of the modern day Chetan Bhagat who was born in Delhi on April 22, 1974 studied at Army Public School at Dhaula Kuan.
Chetan Bhagat is one of those personalities who became famous in various fields like academics, writing or as a motivational speaker.
After completing his schooling at Army Public School, he joined IIT Delhi. He struggled to get admission at IIT.He cleared his competitive exams and prepared to become an engineer.
After graduating from IIT he reached an institute every student dreams of going.That is the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.


Chetan Bhagat was expected to bag a big corporate job because after his studies, that was the only career path. He studied at IIT from 1991 to 1995.
He studied at IIM Ahmedabad from 1995 to 1997.After completing his studies, he had a corporate job for nearly 11 years.
While doing that job, the writer in him got restless.He dreamt of being a writer, Chetan Bhagats first two novels were written when he was working.
Gradually, he became successful when his books became bestsellers. Novels such as One Night at a Call Center and Five Point Someone.

But he was about to become more famous on his novels were adapted into films.
The film Hello was based on One Night at a Call Center The film which was released in 2008.
The novel Five Point Someone was released in 2004, film 3 Idiots was based on it and was released in 2009.

Kareena Kapoor played the heroine.Boman Irani also played an important role, Rajkumar Hirani was the director and Vidhu Vinod Chopra was the producer.

The book The 3 Mistakes of my life, was written in 2008 film Kai Po Che was based on it which was released in 2013.
