YU Televentures is an Indian made mobile and smart phone brand, which is managed by Micromax an Indian consumer electronics company which has its head office in Gurgaon, Haryana -India. YU which was founded on 18 December 2014, and a joint venture with Cyanogen Inc and Micromax Informatics Ltd.

Conclusion:

This phone provides almost all features of a branded phone at the entry-level price and presently Yuphoria sold at Rs.6999/-. Build, colour and design looks unique unlike other phones which is standard hence looks promising.

By making it available only on Amazon which maintains standards on its package and delivery so all those who are buying this phone will be enjoyed the look and feel with good quality package and quick delivery (presently available on registrations and sold on every Thursday at 2:00 p.m).

When compared to Xiaomi’s Redmi 2 the features remains almost same because Redmi 2 has 11.94 cm. HD IPS display, 4G enabled with dual sim and 8MP camera. 64 Bit and Snapdragon 410 processor which is powered for better performance. But RAM of 1GB is draw back when compared to Yuphoria (With a limited offer of exchange price upto Rs.5499 on your old phones which should be functional with its IMEI numbers.) Most users enjoy this phone for multi tasking better battery if used efficiently it can last 12- 14 hours so can say that it has good backup and without any heating issue. But for some the front camera is an issue.

Sixty one users of 16GB and one user of 64GB versions have just rated single star for this products due to heating issue, no 4G, no latest Android update.

My conclusion for those looking to buy mobile phone online is that 3G itself is in preliminary stage in our country and as per latest update by Business Standard only 13% of users in India have access to 3G and 4G even though 3G is available more than a year in our country and as per Cisco’s 2014 VNI mobile forecast, India is still at the lower-end when compared to other countries and average consumption is just at 149MB/month.
